Homme Dam and Lake are located two miles west of the city of Park River, N.D. This beautiful 200-acre lake offers canoeing, water skiing, boating and fishing. 
Homme Dam Recreation Area provides facilities for boat launching, camping and picnicking. The surrounding land is open to hiking, hunting, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. 

Homme Dam has a new beach swimming area near the dam and a a bike/walk path has been constructed from the west side of Park River to the Homme Dam Recreation Area.
