McVille Day Canoe Races

The McVille Days Canoe Races are a long-standing tradition that launches a weekend of celebration and fun. Pull up a golf cart, bring a chair or blanket, or find a seat on the grass to cheer on your favorite teams. This event is free for all viewers and is family-friendly. The event starts at 7:00pm at the beautiful McVille Dam. Come early to enjoy supper in the park supporting the local Fire Department.
*Canoe Race Entry*
- Teams of two are assigned to a canoe and compete in heats of 3-4 teams.
- Register the day of the races at the McVille Dam and pay your team entry fee.
- Cash prizes are awarded for the top 3 teams.
- Don’t forget to choose a name for your team!
- All ages are welcome!
- Canoes and life jackets are provided and must be used by all contestants.
