Real. Good. People
You won’t find better people than the ones who call northeast North Dakota home. We’re white-collar professionals, blue-collar tradespeople, first generation immigrants, and 6th generation farmers. We’re doctors, engineers, high-tech manufacturers, CEOs, teachers, police officers, plumbers, and everything in between.
While many of us have deep-rooted generational connections to this area, many of us don’t. But even with our differences in background, age, career, and culture – there are traits we all have in common. We value our small-town lifestyle. We’re ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it. We’ll keep an eye out for your kids if we see them in the neighborhood. And we’ll stop and chit-chat when we see you out and about.
We may seem a little quiet at first – but that’s just because our first inclination is “don’t bother, don’t be bothered.” By the second time we pass you on the street, we’ll say hello. By the third time, you’ll probably have already been over for dinner twice.
“Being from Minneapolis, MN, I have loved transitioning to small-town life. Rural living is safe, peaceful and everyone has your back when you really need them. You can see all of the stars in the wide-open night sky, and you can’t beat the outdoor recreation. I love the beautiful fall colors in the Pembina Gorge and ice fishing in the wintertime!”
