Situated on the former shoreline of Lake Agassiz, Mountain, ND offers a birds eye view of the Red River Valley to the East and the Pembina Hills to the West. With its rich Icelandic heritage, Mountain hosts the annual August the Deuce Icelandic celebration which draws large crowds and international visitors.
